1983
A humble beginning way back in 1938 at a small town of North Gujarat called ‘TALOD’, Chotai Family started the business from a small shop (making Gotas & Bhajiyas) with big dreams in their heart to scale it across the borders in coming few years sheer on the back of the best quality and customer satisfaction by producing savory, authentic Indian and especially Gujarati snacks & delicacies.
Through determination and discipline, Chotais ventured into the ‘Talod Gruh Udyog’ and successfully launched a range of Talod Instant Mix Food Products that quickly gained popularity across.
Having catered the customers with instant mixes, after a detailed research of various markets, customer insights of the latent demand for authentic, hygienic and healthier snacking options for Indians, ventured into the ready to eat quick serve restaurants (QSR) business model under the brand ‘Talod INSTA SERVE’.

First outlet of Talod INSTA SERVE was started in 2011 at one of the most popular malls of Ahmedabad, Alpha One Mall now known as Ahmedabad One Mall. Looking at the over whelming response and feedback from customers, launched a few more outlets at Ahmedabad spread across Prahlad nagar, South Bopal, Sabarmati Riverfront and Makarba area to name a few.
